EXPLORING BANFF WITH PURSUIT BANFF JASPER COLLECTION

Living in Calgary we are fortunate to be so close to the beautiful rocky mountains. I always try and get out for some of that fresh mountain air and fun hikes!

This summer I decided to explore some touristy things around Banff and I checked out what Pursuit Collection had to offer. I haven't been up to the Banff Gondola in years so decided to start there!

My amazing friend Mirissa joined the adventure and we bought our tickets on the Pursuit website and got them sent to our phone so we didn't have to wait in line to buy tickets. Highly recommend.

The Gondola takes you to the top of Sulphur mountain, the ride up doesn't take too long and it's a cool experience to ride up among the trees! When you get to the top they have two restaurants, a theatre, and so much to look at.

The Banff Gondola is the perfect way to experience some of the best mountain views you've ever seen! If you don't have the time or maybe you're not able to hike up a mountain then this is perfect. There is still an easy walkway that takes you over the mountain and you get 360 degrees of breathtaking views.

We could spend all day there. But, we had to move on to our next adventure!

Next, we went to Lake Minnewanka, just 10 minutes north of Banff. I don't know how I've never been there before!

It's a gorgeous blue lake surrounded by mountains. There's a beach area where you could spend the day, go swimming, have a picnic. There is also a small dock where you can rent a boat or go on a Lake Minnewanka cruise! I had no idea about the cruise until I saw it on the Pursuit website

The cruise is an hour long and it takes you out to a part of the lake you can only get to by boat. There was a guide on the cruise telling us about the history of the Lake Minnewanka area, the environment and fun stories. Everything was really well done and it was a perfect end to our day exploring Banff. I would definitely go on the cruise again!
